Before accessing the services of the Library, it is recommended that users deposit their personal items such as: bags, wallets, packages, etc. in the lockers available in the entrance hall, as it is not advisable to enter the rooms with these items. It is also advisable to keep an eye on your personal belongings, as the Library is not responsible for theft or loss.

The documents must be handled carefully and not be damaged by stuff that could damage them (such as scissors, knives, ink, adhesive paper, etc.).

Audio-visual and computer equipment must be used carefully, without diverting it from its intended use.

A self-service photocopying machine is available to the user. Under current legislation, the number of photocopies is limited to 10¿% of any publication.

Both to use the home loan service, whether for adults or children, and to use a computer with Internet access, it is necessary to have the Andalusian Public Library Network card.

Consume drinks and food inside the different rooms. The library has a space marked for this purpose.

Occupying or reserving more than one reading place per user.

Entering the library with animals.

Entering the library with bulky objects, shopping carts, scooters, or bicycles, except if they are folded or do not interfere with the circulation of the library and those used by people with reduced mobility.

Creating situations of danger or disturbance for other attendees or not fulfilling the appropriate hygiene conditions.

Can I use the Library without a user card?
Yes. Access to the Library and most of its services are free. You only need to have a user card to use the Loan Service and to use the Internet access computers.
Do I have to pay to use any of the Library¿s services?
No. All Library¿s services are free, except for obtaining reproductions or prints.
Hoy many documents can I get on loan from the library?
12 materials in total (with a maximum of 8 books, 4 audio-visuals)
As a reader of the Provincial Library of Malaga, can I get books from other libraries?
Yes, the user card of out library gives you the right to enjoy then Loan Service in the centres of the Andalusian Public Library Network.
Is there a penalty if I am late in returning the loans?
Yes. For each day of delay and document, a 1-day suspension is applied without being able to get on loan any material from any library in the network.
What should I do if a document is lost or damaged in the library?
The document would be replaced.
